How to Clean glo HYPER PRO: Chamber, Brush and Care

NARNAY / Device care

To clean glo HYPER PRO, you need two separate routines: wiping moisture from the bottom access area and brushing the heating chamber from both ends. The important detail is which part you are cleaning—and whether it is cool and dry.

This guide covers the original glo HYPER PRO. It follows the manufacturer’s English-language manual and European support instructions. HYPER PRO+, HILO and other glo models need their own care procedures.

Quick answer

How do you clean glo HYPER PRO?

Let it cool for at least 10 minutes. Wipe moisture at the bottom cleaning door every 5 sessions; brush the chamber from the top and bottom every 20 sessions. Use the supplied brush dry inside the device. Rinse the brush separately afterwards and let it dry before reuse. See the manufacturer’s HYPER PRO cleaning guidance.

Count completed sessions, rather than choosing a fixed day of the week. Wiping the bottom access area and brushing the chamber are different jobs.

When a 20-session clean is due, do the moisture wipe as part of the same routine. A wipe alone does not replace cleaning the chamber from both openings.

What you need before cleaning

  • The HYPER PRO cleaning brush: use the tool supplied for this model, or a replacement confirmed by glo.
  • A dry tissue: for accessible moisture at the bottom cleaning door.
  • A clear workspace: with the charging cable disconnected and the used stick removed normally.

Our practical recommendation is to prepare everything before opening the chamber. If the correct brush is missing, ask local glo support for a suitable replacement rather than improvising with a household tool.

How to clean the glo HYPER PRO chamber

  1. Finish the session and allow cooling

Remove the used stick normally and leave the device for at least 10 minutes. If it is still hot, wait longer. Do not start another heating cycle while preparing to clean it.

  2. Open the top chamber and bottom door

Use the TasteSelect dial to uncover the top chamber. Open the round cleaning door at the base with your finger. Both openings need to be accessible.

  3. Wipe accessible moisture at the bottom

Use a dry tissue at the lower access area. This is the five-session wipe; it is separate from brushing the full chamber.

  4. Brush gently from the top

Insert the supplied dry brush into the top opening and use gentle back-and-forth movements. Avoid pressing harder to overcome resistance.

  5. Brush from the bottom as well

Remove the brush and clean through the lower opening. The official routine specifies both ends. A single pass through the top is not the complete procedure.

  6. Close the device and clean the brush

Remove the brush, close the bottom door and return the dial to its closed position. Rinse the removed brush under running water and leave it to dry before its next use.

How to clean the brush and care for the exterior

Wash the removed brush, not the device. The HYPER PRO care instructions permit rinsing the brush under running water and require drying before reuse.

The cited instructions do not give a fixed drying time. Leave the brush until it is fully dry; a quick rinse followed by immediate reinsertion skips that requirement.

For everyday exterior care, our recommendation is a soft, dry cloth. Keep the chamber and USB-C connection free of added liquid. Brushing instructions apply to the heating chamber, so do not insert that brush into the charging port.

Water, alcohol and cleaning methods to avoid

The English-language manual prohibits immersing the device or USB cable in liquid, inserting foreign objects and dismantling the product. Its cleaning routine calls for a brush inside the chamber and water for the removed brush. See the manual’s safety and cleaning sections.

  • Do not rinse or soak the device. Keep running water for the separate brush.
  • Do not pour water, alcohol or cleaning fluid into the chamber. This guide’s routine does not call for adding liquid.
  • Do not scrape with a needle, knife or screwdriver. These are not the supplied cleaning accessory.
  • Do not dismantle the case for a “deep clean”. Routine access is through the chamber openings.

If a problem remains after cleaning

Cleaning is routine maintenance. It cannot establish the cause of a fault or repair damaged parts. Choose the next action from what you can observe.

NARNAY verdict

Final Verdict

Keep the original HYPER PRO routine simple: cool, wipe, then brush from both ends when due. Rinse the brush separately and dry it before reuse. If routine cleaning meets resistance or a fault remains, ask support for the next step.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I clean glo HYPER PRO?

The European routine is a moisture wipe every five sessions and a chamber clean every twenty. Allow at least ten minutes of cooling before cleaning.

Do I need to clean from both ends?

Yes. For the chamber clean, open the upper heating chamber and lower cleaning door, then use the supplied brush through each opening.

Can I wash the cleaning brush?

Yes. Remove it from the device, rinse it under running water and let it dry completely before using it again inside the chamber.

Can I use alcohol cleaning sticks?

Only where your exact model’s regional instructions approve that accessory. The Russian-market guide lists dedicated alcohol sticks; the English-language manual used here describes the brush routine. Do not pour alcohol into the device.

Does Boost mode mean cleaning every ten sessions?

That interval appears in the Russian-market guide for regular Boost use. It is not stated in the English-language manual cited here. Follow the instructions for your device’s market.

Is HYPER PRO+ cleaned in the same way?

Use its own guide. The Greek PRO+ instructions include locking the device and using the supplied maintenance tool with a different motion. Do not transfer that sequence to the original PRO.

Will a reset clean the chamber?

No. A restart does not physically remove moisture or residue. Follow the cleaning routine for maintenance and the exact model’s troubleshooting instructions for an error.
